Joel Sundin

Joel Sundin, born in 1964 and from Sweden, started playing early music as 16 years old at Södra Latin High School. In 1988 he graduated form the Academy with a master of fine art, violin. He has played as member of the Symfoniorchestra of Umeå and with the Länsmusik String Quartet, and has had futher studies with Jaap Schröder.

Joel Sundin plays regularly with Concerto Copenhagen, Rebaroque, Drottingholms Teaterorkester, Barocksolisterne, Theatre of Voices and Trio Vivace. He has recorded for Decca, Harmonia Mundi, Deutsche Grammophon, CPO, Dacapo, ECM, Proprius, Naxos and with Helicon as solioist.
